Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia says New world order is an integrative theory that appears in both religious and secular versions. It emerged as a combination, and recombination, of the reaction by fundamentalist Christian eschatology to New Age ideas[citation needed], with the long-standing disposition to blame conspiracies for shifting social inequities.

Many believe the idea of the "new world order" originated in the early 1900s with Cecil Rhodes, who advocated that the British Empire and the United States should jointly impose a Federal World Government (with English as the official language) to bring about lasting world peace. Lionel Curtis, who also believed in this idea, founded the Rhodes-Milner Round Table Groups in 1909, which led to the establishment of the British-based Royal Institute for International Affairs in 1919 and the U.S.-based Council on Foreign Relations in 1920. The concept was further developed by Edward M. House, a close advisor to Woodrow Wilson during the negotiations to set up the League of Nations (it is unclear whether it was House or Wilson who invented the actual phrase). Another important influence was the futurist H.G. Wells, a vigorous advocate for world government. There is a prediction that the next major historical world upheaval will emerge from the world wide web.

Elements of the conspiracy theory are present in the populism of the nineteenth century. The theories in their present form can be traced to the collapse of the Soviet Union and President George H. W. Bush's new world order speech of 11 September 1990. In it he described the United States' objectives for post-cold-war cooperation with the former Soviet Union, using the phrase "new world order."

According to theorists there are many signs that will confirm these claims. For example, the strange murals in the Denver International Airport, the Illuminati seal on the $1 bill, Masonic signs on buildings (particularly in Washington DC) and pentagrams worked into city plans.

Other names for the New World Order are Illuminati Bankers, High Cabal, Fourth Reich, Synarchist International, the Cryptocracy, the power elite, and the powers that be.

Supporters of this theory can say to a certain degree who is part of it. Nobody can determine who isn't part of the New World Order. Most prominent families such as the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Morgans, and Du Ponts, as well as European monarchs, are said to be important members.

International organizations such as the World Bank, IMF, European Union, the United States, the United Nations, and NATO are often listed as core New World Order organizations. Presidents and prime ministers of nations are routinely included in this huge conspiracy. A slightly different version of the New World Order theory goes as far as saying that these families and persons are all part of the same bloodline. Though there are many internet sites and books that present many ideas as factual, scant evidence to support many such claims exist.

It is believed that there are to be numerous internment camps located within the United States and that these internment camps will start being seen as signs before any action is taken. These camps are to be used to store any Americans who protest or give any sort of fight against the Secret Service Guard that is to be used to control the population and new laws.

Defining The New World Order

Just exactly what the New World Order really is, is not properly understood by most Americans. However, the proper definition can be easily produced for the reader because the Baltimore News-Post published the definition in an article on page 2 of the December 8, 1941 issue, many years ago. In this article, Dr. Quincy Wright, a professor of International Law at the University of Chicago, describes what he referred to as "The New World Order" he envisioned, as opposed to "Hitler's New Order" of that era. Wright makes it clear that National Sovereignty and the independence of individual nations would be subjected to limitations mandated by a world government. Three continental systems were foretold: A "United States of Europe," an Asiatic system and a Pan-American union. Wright also forecast that each continental system would have a common military force and that national military forces would be greatly reduced or outlawed.

The world system described in the article has been under development for over fifty years. The General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) is the basis for the emerging world government system. The continental systems have been developing in conjunction with the world system. The European Free Trade Association (EFTA) has already evolved from a free trade agreement into the European Union: the "United States of Europe." The Canadian Free Trade Agreement has evolved into the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and is scheduled to become the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas (FTAA) in the year 2005 according to AmericasNet. This would integrate our western hemisphere into one continental bloc. The Asian system is emerging as the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).

Supporters of the world government conspiracy argue that world government is necessary to ensure world peace. But with the end of the cold war a new excuse to destroy our National Soverignty was needed. Now they say that technology makes national boundaries obsolete.

Warren G. Harding, in his Inaugural Address on March 4, 1921, had already recognized the drive for a one world government. But he plainly stated the ideals of the people, and opposed it:

"We are ready to associate ourselves with the nations of the world, great and small, for conference, for counsel; to seek the expressed views of world opinion; to recommend a way to approximate disarmament relieve the crushing burdens of military and naval establishments. We elect to participate in suggesting plans for mediation, conciliation, and arbitration, and would gladly join in that expressed conscience of progress, which seeks to clarify and write the laws of international relationship, and establish a world court for the disposition of such justiciable questions as nations are agreed to submit thereto. In expressing aspirations, in seeking practical plans, in translating humanity's new concept of righteousness and justice and its hatred of war into recommended action we are ready most heartily to unite, but every commitment must be made in the exercise of our national sovereignty. Since [America is] freedom impelled, and independence inspired, and nationality exalted, a world supergovernment is contrary to everything we cherish and can have no sanction by our Republic. This is not selfishness, it is sanctity. It is not aloofness, it is security. It is not suspicion of others, it is patriotic adherence to the things which made us what we are."

The position of our forefathers regarding any establishment of a world government, and the value they placed on national and individual Freedom is very clear. Today, however, few citizens seem to be clear on much of anything.

The question today is "What is America's destiny?" Are we going to let this super government absorb our country? Are we going to allow enemies from without and traitors from within to subjugate us? Are we going to throw away the ideals of our Founding Fathers that made the United States one of the most longed for destinations of oppressed people throughout the world? Has the light in the torch of Freedom gone out? These are grave questions. And the questions must be answered!
